Dan relates his journey through transformation. Using Nehemiah as a Biblical reference, he walks us through the steps as he grew a wonderful church community. He used Rick Warren, Purpose-Driven Church as a model. In typical fashion, he preached them down from 300 to 150 before growing to 3000 and planting new churches. This is another book that is useful when working with a Council or Vision Team trying to move off the plateau. Give a copy to each leader, and spend 20-30 minutes at each gathering to facilitate dialog about the ideas presented in the book. Gregg Burch.

What an inspirational, scripture based book. I am sharing the book with our vision/strategy/transitioning team. We know God has a plan for his church entrusted to us and we can't wait to make the discovery of what it is.
