Bob Rognlien

Bob Rognlien desires first and foremost to be a wholehearted worshiper of Jesus Christ. His greatest passion is to see people’s lives changed through more complete, biblical experiences of God in worship. Having lived on both coasts of the United States, as well as in Europe, the Middle East, and the Far East, Bob has worshiped God in many different cultures and traditions. A graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, Bob has also studied in Tacoma, Washington; Berkeley, California; Kent, England; Berlin, Germany; and Jerusalem. He has served churches in New Jersey and Jerusalem, as well as Northern and Southern California.

As Senior Pastor of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd he is privileged to be part of a life-changing community that is exploring new ways to worship God with heart, soul, mind, and strength. His greatest joy is sharing life with his wife Pam and his sons Bobby and Luke. He makes his home with them in Torrance, California where he loves to surf, ski, sail, paddle, backpack, cook, read, and go to the movies.
