Dave Daubert, D. Min., Ph. D.
Dave Daubert is a second career pastor who first worked as an engineer at Caterpillar in Peoria, IL. After attending Trinity Lutheran Seminary (M.Div., S.T.M.) he served as a parish pastor in Columbus, Ohio. While there he also earned a Doctor of Ministry in preaching from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. He then served as Assistant to the Bishop for Urban and Multicultural Ministries in Omaha, Nebraska and while there he received his Ph.D. in Theological Studies from the Graduate Theological Foundation in South Bend, Indiana. Dave then served on the ELCA churchwide staff as Director for Renewal of Congregations from 2000 until 2008.
Dave Daubert (D. Min., Ph. D.) is currently CEO and a Director for A Renewal Enterprise, Inc. (www.ARenewalEnterprise.com). A.R.E.’s purpose is to “engage work and world with purpose and passion” and they work with congregations, judicatories and other organizations throughout the United States and Canada. Along with his partners Tana Kjos and Kelly Fryer, he is a frequent keynote speaker and workshop presenter and the author of several articles and resources including contributing to A Story Worth Telling, as well as articles in Net Results, Emphasis, The Lutheran, TransformingChurch.com, and others. His latest book is Living Lutheran: Renewing Your Congregation. In addition, he is pastor of Zion Lutheran Church in Elgin, Illinois where he lives and works with his wife Marlene (a social worker/diaconal minister at Zion Lutheran Church) and their two children Erin and Nathan.

I had the opportunity to hear Dave lead a two-day workshop for Mission Developers. He has an incredible depth of content, and presents in a wonderful way that keeps people engaged in the work.
