Roger Ganzel
Roger Ganzel has been part of Transformatinal Leader Gathering since its inception and is a regular contributor to TransformingChurch.com e-News. Ordained an ELCA pastor in 1964, he then spent forty years helping to develop five mission congregations in WI, OH and FL. He has also been transitional pastor more recent for two additional missions in GA and FL. For eight years he served as synodical representative for evangelism for the Florida-Bahamas Synod.
In 2002 he was chosen as a pastor-in-residence at Trinity Seminary in Columbus, OH to lead transformation workshops for students and faculty. He is on the Florida-Bahamas Leadership Task Group. On the east coast from St. Simon, GA to St. Augustine, FL, for four years now he has provided pastoral supply most Sundays of the year.
He also actively coaches the transformation of congregations and organizations from maintenance to mission. In 2006, he was named Associated Editor of TransformingChurch.com. You will find many of his articles in our Newsletter Archives.
He and his wife Diane live on Amelia Island just north of Jacksonville, FL, but reach out wherever the Holy Spirit leads them. They have two grown children who have their own families.
