Ernie Hinojosa
Ernie Hinojosa is the founding pastor of Camino Real Christian Fellowship (ELCA) in San Antonio, Texas. In its five years of existence, Camino Real has organized as a new congregation in the urban “barrio” of San Antonio, planted a second site ministry to post-moderns called “PM Verb” (as in a “Post Modern Action”) in San Antonio’s art district, started a for-profit coffee house/café called “Blend”, and is beginning its third ministry site focused on reaching the downtown homeless community.
Pastor Hinojosa has been recognized by the ELCA as one of its top church planters, is a trainer of other ELCA church planters, and is a frequent speaker/resource person in the areas of evangelism and outreach.
