Nathan Swenson-Reinhold

Nathan Swenson-Reinhold is the new Lead Pastor (read lead storyteller, discipler, and mission equipper) at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Longwood, Florida. He graduated from Trinity Lutheran Seminary, Columbus, Ohio, in June of 2005 and was ordained that September. He is the product of a Lilly Endowment Transformational Leadership Grant and two years spent in dynamic ministry and leadership apprenticeship at Abiding Hope Lutheran Church, Littleton, Colorado.

Nathan is one of the founding visionaries and creators of the Mission Driven in Vision Network (www.mdivnet.net), a trans-local peer-coaching network whose impetus and passion comes from one fervent hope: that the church and her leaders might lead and dream, serve and partner as if the tomb of Jesus the Messiah is in fact truly empty.

Nathan is currently pursuing doctoral studies through George Fox University's "Leadership in the Emerging Culture" Cohort. George Fox is located in Portland, Oregon.

He is passionate about Jesus, Jesus’ church in vibrant mission, the world Jesus loves, and the development of leaders who can lead and equip Christ’s church to engage the challenges of a 21st century, post-everything world. He and his wife Erin have two boys, Samuel and Ephraim.
